This book is a collection of the winning submissions from poetry, prose and photography contests that were held in 2021 by the Caribbean Climate Justice Project, when youth from across the Caribbean were asked to share their views on climate change.
What We Do
The Caribbean Climate Justice Project seeks to educate and inform on the threats posed to lives and livelihoods in the Caribbean by climate change and to catalyze action on the necessary responses at the household, community, national and regional levels.
We work with and through community based organisations to draw attention to the existential threat posed by climate change to the small island developing states in the Caribbean

Since the launch of the Caribbean campaign “1.5 To Stay Alive” in 2015, Gladding has put his talent at the service of a social and environmental cause he strongly believes in. As world leaders prepare for the latest round of climate negotiations at the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (COP 26) in Glasgow, Scotland this November, Gladding’s newest painting calls attention to what is at stake for the global community.
